A backend-first summary of the product problem and the solution direction behind the full project delivery.
Kyjuanbrown is a healthcare-focused backend platform built to manage patient records, provider data, visit history, appointment workflows, recall operations, staff activity, and dashboard reporting from one secure and structured system.
The client needed a reliable backend system to manage patients, visits, appointments, call outcomes, recall follow-ups, staff roles, and dashboard visibility without depending on scattered spreadsheets or manual tracking. The platform also needed secure access control and scalable APIs for daily healthcare operations.
I developed a FastAPI-based backend with modular APIs for authentication, role-based permissions, patient management, provider management, visit records, appointment scheduling, recall call tracking, status workflows, dashboard summaries, search, filtering, and pagination. Redis-backed OTP support, JWT security, Tortoise ORM models, Dockerized deployment, and Nginx reverse proxy support were used to make the system clean, secure, and production-ready.
A single system architecture snapshot preserved as proof of the delivery design and implementation flow.
The stack used across the full build, covering service logic, data storage, infrastructure, cloud setup, frontend integration points, and delivery tooling.
The core capabilities were implemented as production-facing modules, shaped for real usage, maintainability, and future scale.

Optimized the backend for faster response times, steadier throughput, and more predictable behavior under production traffic.
Applied practical safeguards across authentication, validation, permissions, and transport security to protect the platform in production.
Releases stay repeatable through a clear path from source control to health-checked production deployment.
Representative product surfaces supported by the APIs, workflows, and operational foundations built for the project.
