Passarinhama is a production-ready multi-service backend platform designed to manage food, grocery, medicine, restaurant operations, product catalogs, orders, delivery workflows, customer support, reels-based engagement, vendor controls, rider activity, GST-ready invoice calculation, and admin dashboard reporting from one centralized system.
The platform needed a reliable backend that could support multiple business verticals such as food, grocery, and medicine while also handling vendors, riders, customers, support agents, product data, restaurant menu sync, delivery fees, order status updates, tax calculation, reels content, real-time chat, and dashboard analytics. The client needed a maintainable system instead of disconnected modules that would become difficult to scale.
I developed a FastAPI-based backend with modular services for authentication, role-based permissions, customer workflows, vendor management, restaurant profiles, product and category handling, reels, reviews, cart/order flows, delivery fee logic, GST-inclusive tax calculation, real-time support messaging, AI-assisted chatbot handoff, Petpooja restaurant integration, notifications, dashboard summaries, and deployment-ready infrastructure. Redis, WebSocket communication, SQL database models, Dockerized services, Nginx routing, and CI/CD-ready deployment practices were used to make the platform scalable, secure, and production-ready.
